This was an adorable little town for kids to ride bikes, push cars, scooters or even walk around and explore an imaginary place where they feel big! Lots of teaching opportunities to discuss safety when crossing the street and pretending to navigate stores and things around town. I took 2 children here and even though it was smaller than I thought, they both had so much fun and the 3yr old has requested to come back several times! There are picnic tables and a gate to ensure your littles don’t run out. No public restrooms but there was a portapotty nearby. Read moreSafety Town was smaller than I thought it would be but it was still very cute and cool. Most importantly the kids loved it. They rode bikes for a little and played on foot a lot too. The kids are 3, 5, and 7 and all enjoyed it. There were garbage cans inside the fenced safety town, some benches (some in shade some not) and 4 picnic tables. There was a porta potty in-between safety town and the parking lot as well. There is a big fountain about a 2 minute walk from safety town that entertained the kids...
Read moreWe were in Elmhurst for an unrelated reason and needed to kill some time before lunch. Entering "bike park" returned this Safety Town, and my kids loved it! Great care was very clearly put into building it, and that it's fenced means you can help your kids play without worry they'll wander off into the neighborhood!
