New Customer/Clifton homeowner I have a pretty big property & after my Father passed few years ago I started maintaining everything from cutting grass, trimming, planting & more. I have 13 Arborvitae trees, apple tree, few trees & shrubs in front plus I love having a vegetable garden! Between work & taking care of Mom I got burnt out, but finding a good & affordable landscaper is like finding that good Dr. I’m a Ridgfield Farms customer long time & they suggested Dave & Dans Landscaping. Their reviews led Me to reach out, I left v/m & got a call back in less than an hour from owner & we set up a date for the work evaluation & estimate. Dave was easy to talk to, listened to what I wanted, offered his advice of what He felt I need & don’t need. My backyard ground level is extremely low, water sitting in areas that form little lakes after the rain. Dave offered his recommendations, said He will email Me estimate in few days. I ask a thousand questions, Dave was patient & answered all of them even had to repeat himself few times lol He did exactly what He said He would. I received the Estimate via email in few days.

His Price was fair for weekly maintenance plus the major jobs. First visit was the Spring cleanup. Team arrived in very nice orange uniformed sweatshirts, showed courtesy, had quality equipment and their work just flowed, I’m an admirer of team work and this team certainly displayed just that! They went that extra mile! If they moved something it went right back in it’s place. I was definitely impressed. Showed Professionalism and care & that equals quality! Their overall rating is low for good reason.Horrible customer service. And responding with a lie to try and cover up their incompetence. You know the saying “ A hit dog will holler “ lol They don’t answer the phone hardly ever and once they get your credit card you are in trouble here. Please do yourself a favor if you can find better people to deal with avoid using this service at all cost they will leave you very frustrated at the end and you will be left looking for someone else like me. You have been warned. Read other comments this is what they do and I should of followed my gut and never used this service. I see they responded to my review with a complete crock of lies. They were paid recently and why should I have to worry about my credit card be charged unauthorized because someone has been entrusted with my card information. No courtesy phone at all. And like I stated before incredibly rude customer service. If you work for a major corporation like I do you clearly understand how a customer is supposed to treated and Dave and Dan sorely miss the mark. Again if anyone doesn’t believe try and get them on the phone for help. I’m not the only one here that has stated after numerous attempts to reach someone they don’t answer the phone or return phone calls. Just horrible horrible customer service period...

Dave & Dans Landscaping recently brought my yard back to life. To say the least, my yard was a tragedy. I had a pool and a very large wrap around deck removed last summer leaving a gaping pit, 12’ x 24’ in the center of my yard that filled up with water every time it rained. The remainder of my yard was overgrown with shrubs, trees, etc; that were dying and out of control. The yard, from the previous landscaping style, had large boulders and river rocks all over the place. Dan's team came in and leveled my yard, removed a few trees and shrubs, basically making my yard a clean slate to work with. He created a rock garden along the length of my back fence that is a beautiful show piece in my opinion. They laid down Kentucky Blue sod and installed an irrigation system.
