Love this trail. I’ve done the entire trail round trip (in 3 separate rides) on several occasions. There is a small portion that is currently under construction (Sept 20) but it is very well maintained and you can go for miles on a flat and stop-free smooth paved trail. Much of the ride is shaded as you roll through forests, along lakes, and beside beautiful farms. It’s probably THE best trail in Southern MN if not the entire state. Enjoy!

Absolutely beautiful trail. Great place to get out and stretch your legs on a long drive. Fun stuff to see along the trail.

Beautiful Trail. Prefer the Mankato to the Sakatah State Park section as past the Park and heading to Faribault is noisier because you are biking along MN 60. Lots of farmland, wetlands, and lakes, and tree covered sections. Watch the posted signs in Waterville for a short ride through the quiet town to pick the...

From Mankato to Elysian the trail is really great but from Elysian to Waterville it is very,very bad. And then from Waterville to Faribault it's very nice again. I hope they fix the bad...
