Emmettโs largest park boasts of mature trees that shade much of the large park. The playground area has the option of being enclosed (if the gates are closed), and is clean and friendly. There is a sandbox for your littles to dig in (bring your trucks!), swings, and many options for play equipment that will leave the smallest and biggest of your kids happy.
There is also a walking/exercise path on the west side of the park, which both my kids and I enjoyed walking and attempting.
The Cherry festival takes place here every year but you wouldnโt know it based on the incredible maintenance. Across the street you can view a memorial plaque for soldiers lost in WW2 & 3, as well as a tank! My kids love touching and seeing the real tank up close.
Located close to downtown shopping, you wonโt regret a visit to Emmettโs...
ย ย ย Read moreWe decided to go to the Cherry Festival on the spur of the moment. We did not know that they did not allow dogs to participate in the Cherry Festival or even come on the grounds. We drove from Boise we even paid $5 for parking. To be fair, it does say on their website they don't allow pets. However, this being a non pet friendly event it's kind of sad. I don't recommend wasting your time at the Cherry Festival if you have a animal that you like to take around with you. Hopefully these people or organizers can learn from their mistakes and go forward in a positive manner and allow dogs...
ย ย ย Read more๐๐๐ 6/17/23 My wife and I thought we might try The Emmet Cherry Festival & Car Show , Wow I think all of Emmet was there plus thousands more people . Alot of traffic minimal ten dollar parking with carnival and fast foods everyone was having fun today. Its not like the first time we came here in 2021 there was alot to see for a small town , everyone had their lawn chairs set up on main drag for the car parade in the evening not much goes on in this town but this event........but fun was had by all............if this helps please follow for more...
