I came here from the Paramus location after that location started losing group class instructors and never replacing them. I was doing the BodyPump classes at Paramus, and came to this gym to continue doing them after they stopped providing several of them at Paramus. There is very little availability for after work group fitness classes at both of these locations, which is pretty annoying. And the one BodyPump class I tried at this location was pretty bad. It was super low energy, the instructor was really low energy and seemed pretty unenthusiastic. She never really introduced herself or explain the class in the beginning of each class is a good instructor should, especially if they're a new students. She would just sort of randomly start the class with no introduction. She gives very few verbal instructions or cues about what moves to be doing, and sometimes doesn't even do the moves herself. So it's almost impossible for a newer student to know what's going on. She also very rarely explains correct form or corrects people's form, so I don't know how a newer student is supposed to know how to achieve that. Which is important for a class like this. The studio itself is also pretty old and gross, it's just cramped and dark inside and smells super strongly of mildew. Especially the group fitness room. The smell is really strong in there and it's pretty disgusting. I used some of the treadmills a couple of times and they were fine, although this gym definitely feels at capacity and it's hard to find machines that are open. It is also really hard to find open parking spots frequently. Overall, if you're looking for fitness classes, I definitely suggest looking elsewhere. And finally, the communication at both locations was really bad. Both at the old location and the new one, fitness classes were frequently canceled at the last minute, with unclear communication to class participants about it. Read moreWell I was looking for a good gym to workgout came across 24 Fitness. In englewood cliffs I have been here 5months I love it. It is a awesome gym. Everyone is. So friendly The staff is incredible. They help you out all the time if you need help They have a pool. The equipment is new. Plenty of parking And you cannot beat the price Also I have a personal trainer, Vicky. Vicky, she's incredible. I was looking for a good trainer She is intense, pushes you to your limits. And I love that She is Watching you So you are doing the right exercise the right way And you cannot be a price When you start with her, she'll weigh you and take your measurements And Later on she compares it If you want she will write out a meal plan for you too. I see, my body is changing.She's incredible.I had all the trainers in the past but They were not intense and always looking around. That was horrible, Vicky Is right there side by side spot on you pushing you Right to your. Limits to get that burn, She will motivate you right to the end. I see my body changing it's incredible And she is always switching up the Routines. I love that pushing and Pulling And then right to cardio And then we hit the heavy bag I love the heavy bag there, t j The manager there was a promotion.but expired, but he helped me out with a better deal I thought that was awesome of him. Read moreWOAH! Who do I speak with about customer service? Usually front desk here is fine; warm, helpful & friendly but ITS VERY hard to get to a live desk person. Say your class is canceled last minute or want to ask a live person about the club, you have sit through prompts and hit #6. I have been a customer for over 15 years! Tonight I called to confirm if the class I take was canceled. Saw on the app it was, just before I left the house. When I finally did get through, the guy who answered was the WORST! He actually hung up without saying anything at the end of the call!
When I called back to ask for additional help, he was rude. After asking my question, (quite frankly was hoping someone else would answer), I told him he hung hung up on me before. His response: "Ok. AND is there something else I can help you with?" When I asked his name he refused to give out his name, OR transfer me to a manager. He claimed he was the manager. Then hung up on me. When I called back he wouldn't answer the phone. It just kept ringing.
These are the kind of employees you hire? APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE. You should be embarrassed. No wonder there are so few locations any more!!
