Very Cute Park! I met there, with my Boyfriend's Family, for an afternoon Picnic. Before then, I had never been as I don't live in or around the Enid area. First impression was that it seemed big, fun and clean. I didn't see many shaded areas, other than the few covered pavilion spots. Kids complained about the playground, next to the Tennis Courts, being "Burning Hot". Unfortunately, I didn't see very many covered playscapes for the kids as well as no seating nearby for the Adults. That was disappointing. Maybe I didn't see the entire park, but I also didn't see any designated grilling spots or water-play areas, such as a Splash Pad. Rough concrete floors you know can't be mopped, with many puddles of water from somewhere (sink or stalls). The stalls have no doors, very dirty toilets you can't sit on, hard enough to endure standing. Poor lighting. No child changing tables. If the city is trying to make the park family friendly, they need to invest in their bathroom facilities. Read moreHaving grown up in Enid, Meadowlake has always been a big part of my life. The place has a great train that is very peaceful. You yell as you go through a tunnel that has been there for so many years. While the various rides have changed throughout the years, the overall feeling of a well put together park has not. I've had many picnics here. The pavilions are very well maintained and their biking/running trails are immaculate. There is also a plethora of equipment for kids to play on. For fireworks, this is the place to be. The Symphony takes you to another world as fireworks streak...
