Jumbo South — Local services in Enid

Manager C.J. is very rude and disrespectful. I have had two encounters with the manager of this particular location. Both times I have been treated horribly. The first encounter was in August. I went in to get a Money Order. Mr. C.J talked to me as if I were a second class citizen. I have not ever been addressed in that way in a public establishment. I tried to call the main office to report the incident, but got no response. I vowed then to never return to that particular location and to let my colleagues and senior friends aware of the obvious bias shown by Manager C.J. Unfortunately, today I was in a rush and hoping the manager was not on duty, I reluctantly went in. Who else was there.. Manager C.J. hateful and rude as always. This manager obviously hates his job and the seemingly 'low class' customers he has to deal with. I'm not sure where this young person came from, but he could be the poster child for some of the 'entitlement generation' of today!

As long as Manager C.J. is in this location it ...it is worth the drive across town to another Jumbo's location. Better yet..there are other great grocery options in Enid that value their...

Today, the day before thanksgiving, I watched the manager at checkout pay for the little old lady's entire bill for groceries to show their Thanksgiving. She turned beet red and started crying. He was holding back tears and I'm getting choaked up again even as I type this...From what I understand they had been doing this throughout the day. I was just be there and see it. They were not trying to show it off and were being as discrete as possible. It was so sweet. Any store willing to do that for its customers deserves my vote!!! (And to be honest I was just worried about getting my candy cane cash! Double bonus if you ask me!) Now they might not have everything you need at this location because it's a smaller neighborhood store, but they have heart, the necessities, and some good not frozen...

Save-A-Lot is a low-cost grocery store, and is a great place to shop. They don't have all the selection you would find in a great big Supermarket, but they have everything you need. I enjoy going here for the specials.
