I didn't realize how much I missed live theatre until I went to a local production of Blithe Spirit at Upright Theatre, which I learned was formed during COVID craziness. What a feat to start an in-person business during a global pandemic! I was so moved by their story and the gratifying feeling from watching the performers, I signed my kid up for a summer camp. For a kid that doesn't have the best listening ears, when I came to see his performance at the end of the week, I was surprised to see him focused, listening for his turn, and reciting all his lines correctly. And they take everyone's safety seriously and are on top of following COVID protocols. This is a community theatre I am proud to support for...
Read moreMy daughter and son have taken a couple of classes at Upright Theatre and I have to tell you, this place is amazing!!! The teachers are so wonderful and patient with my children, my kids come home telling me of how much fun they had while at Upright. I also really appreciate the reasonable pricing and convenient location. Oh and the adult shows they put on are wonderful. I just recently saw "All together now" it was a wonderful musical review. I looking forward to seeing " A Christmas Carol". I hope this helps anybody trying to make a decision as to whether or not Upright is...

Not sure how they run the theater with these really affordable tickets and complimentary beer/wine, but they have my heart. If you go, definitely do consider donating, because they're worth every...
