Uncle Chens Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Euless

I’ve been ordering here for YEARS. Tonight, I called and the answering service requested I ordered through the website, so I did. It converted my order to a pick up, so I called to try and switch it to delivery. The man who answered was very concerned that I was not going to tip the driver (even though I have tipped 20-60% for the last six years and the other manager confirmed this in her system) since it was prepaid. I told him not to worry about it and he can just cancel my order in which he hung up on me. I called back and the lady said it was probably a misunderstanding, and told me I needed to call their website to get a refund.

I am really saddened by this and hate that we will no longer be supporting this locally owned business. There are far too many options in Euless to be forced to order online, have the online system mess up and then be treated that way from the owners.

I’ve been a customer for years. Unfortunately that ship has sailed, I ordered delivery online and it converted to pickup upon calling the restaurant they told me they would not be able to deliver they are too busy I would have to wait 1 hour as I explained the order was already ready she told me my son is picking it up now. When I told her I didn’t have a son she continued stating I was outside. I explain to her three times the situation and finally asked her to cancel the order she told me nope can’t do call the zing to cancel and hung up in my face. The system has done this before and the owner immediately sent it over by someone who clearly wasn’t a delivery driver. Thats was the customer service I am used to. Sad to say I won’t order from here again. Any suggestions on nearby Asian cuisine...

For the owner: you were very nice, I think it would be best to fix some things to improve your business. The fried rice is just brown, you serve way too much of it with meal and the taste is not good. The chicken is chewy. Hearing the microwave open and close multiple times concerned me. The food is barely okay to eat. Please re look at your ingredients and way of cooking. The restaurant looks like it used to be nice. If you put some money into it, you could save this place. Fix your AC unit, fix the fish tank, do not use it as storage. All the boxes should go in the back, and have someone help you with cooking. Overall not good but could be.
