2024-11: The newer are took a noticeable hit from Hurricane Helene, especially the walking trails to the Boulders Play Area tucked back in the woods a bit. It was nice to see people out there though. 2023-09: Very surprised to see some areas of additions currently under construction here. The walking trail is temporarily closed as Blanchard Woods Park is getting two new playground areas and a dog park, at the least. Also, there is another entrance to Blanchard Park from Oak Ridge Dr (off of Columbia Rd - across from Anytime Fitness/Little Cesar's/Top China). I'm excited to see what becomes of the new additions and I'm curious to see if they will add any restrooms in the new area since the other facilities are not exactly close to these playground-to-be areas. 2022-12: Still a nice little park. It is definitely aging a bit with the backmost parking lot being in need of re-paving, as well as some areas on the pathway around the perimeter of the park needing attention due to sinkholes. However, there has been recent work done to the pathway furthest from the entrance. Freshly paved throughout the short wooded part of the path gives way to a newly built wooden bridge the crosses (at best) a water run off. (Too small to consider it a stream or creek). I went on New Year's Eve during the late afternoon and it wasn't busy. I saw a mix of people - male & female, a small group of teenagers just hanging out, a couple of people had their dogs. The restrooms, while dated, were clean, well lit, and stocked with toilet paper and disposable hand towels. Also had running water and soap. I look forward to seeing what they do with this little park in the future. 2021: Nice park tucked back inside of a neighborhood. Great for walking or taking kiddos to play. The area is well light at night and it's pretty quiet. Restrooms available and have been maintained for the most part whenever I've been.

This park is awesome and you can do many sport activities in it. Such as going for a run in a 2.75 miles course (it contains just a big slope and 3 or 4 little hills) (as I do every Monday with my Cross Country team) or play a soccer game in its fields with totally free access. It has a little playground where kids can have a fun time while parents talk on the picnic area or watch any soccer game going on on the fields.

Nice park to play sports like football, soccer, baseball, and pickleball. Two playground areas (one currently under construction). Both kids and adults can enjoy this space. It has pavilions with picnic tables and clean restrooms. There are nice nature trails for walking and jogging or biking.

It is great to have a nice park off belair Rd, but things could be nicer. A family sets up their own concession stand with the occasional grill set up for hotdogs and hamburgers. A location where they can operate out of would be nice. Also I know it's a park but the restrooms seem way below what they can be. Happy they installed a new soap dispenser in the women's restroom but that should have been done a while back. The park is overtaxed with different sports resulting in kids having to learn slower. It needs more handicap parking as well especially considering one handicap spot is so difficult to manuever into. Positives are the fact that you never know what breed of dog you may encounter, fields are well tended, the walking path is nice as it goes around and into the woods, and the addition of a playground for younger children to play on as well. Overall not a bad place for a jog or to...

They have a small more toddler friendly playground towards the front of the park with a covered picnic area. A football field, baseball diamond and another field. They also just last month updated another play area deeper in the wooded areas that is great for brave 4 year Olds and up. The treehouse playground was by far the big hit. The woodland one had a couple of more toned down things and the Boulder area was great for my older kids. The restrooms are a good 10 minute walk from the deeper play areas as I had the toddler with me too. Overall fantastic experience though. Great work!! There is also a dog park across the street from the...
