Brookside Park — Attraction in Farmington

This is my favorite park in Farmington, honestly it's in the running for my favorite place here overall. It has everything, sprawling green grassy hills and fields, lots of big shade trees, picnic tables, grills, pavilions, playgrounds, real restrooms, a very respectable skate park, and an impressive aquatic center complete with slides and water features for the kids.. And winding through it all, the beautiful little brook where the park gets it's name. The sound of it is so tranquil and there's even a few little bridges to cross over it that are nice little photo ops. It's shallow enough for children to put their feet in and splash around too. I often park near it in the shade and take some time to read a book and bask in all the natural beauty. 🥰 Side note, kudos to the city for keeping this place clean and...

Dear County Officials,

We, the children of the Morning Side community, would like to express our sincere wish for a new park and recreational area in our neighborhood. We have seen the amazing Brookside Park in the city of Farmington, and we dream of having a similar place to play, learn, and grow.

A park like Brookside would give us a safe place to meet friends, exercise, and enjoy nature. It would be a wonderful addition to our community and help us build lasting memories. Please consider our request and help us create a vibrant, happy, and healthy environment for all the kids in Morning Side.

My family and I really enjoyed the pool, it was so nice and the kids had fun. Also wanted to say what an amazing job the lifeguards do there! There was a little girl that went to the deep side and the life guards were so quick to respond that they noticed before anyone else ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I mean I heard a whistle and the lifeguard was gone 💨💨💨 I really appreciate that.
