Brookside Skatepark — Attraction in Farmington

The design layout is cool don’t get me wrong but the park is extremely dangerous. All the open bars under the ramps where people can easily ride/fall into them. Wheels can get caught on the opening to that bigger U shaped tube ramp thing as well. My son’s wheel got caught somewhere causing him to fly off his board and hurt both of his wrist. My son is 17 has been skating since he was 10 and has never had a serious injury from skating and now he has to take a break because both of his wrist are bruised and swollen. This park is a law suit...

Shame on you elks lodge ! There’s a building for their use next to this park and they could easily assign off duty mp vets or guards to watch the kids here after dark it’s needed it’s probably a racial thing since there are so many Navajo children. Please place security at this park myself and other mothers acted as first responders in many cases before...

Definitely an odd layout compared to other skate parks but 10x better than the skatepark in Aztec my skill level also isn't very high so take this opinion with a grain of salt most of the stars are for the community every time I've been there everyone's usually pretty chill not as intimidating as some other skateparks could be...
