First time doing business and was just curious to see how much they would price me for 2 Xbox’s. my Xbox series s black version 1tb, and white version. 1tb. Disc at that. Which nowadays they make digital.
Well my rear back bezel port housing screen was a little flimsy (pic in the comment) they said my black XBOX one s was BROKEN AND THEY WOULD GIVE ME 20$ FOR IT! I was confused as heck!!!! Bc used yea, but I could’ve sworn broken was something that won’t work or was cracked to hell or something was an issue (seeing reviews definitely makes it seem like they are scamming folks for a living, the items sold can be broken and they’ll sell it for 40+ but will lowball me and argue bc of a 13.99 dollar part off eBay….. They offered me 35 for my older version of the Xbox series s that was 1 tb had stickers all over it and a small burn hole due to somebody being dumb and burning my system with something not to bad game still worked perfectly.
I told her the game is perfectly fine and it was. I used it daily. Lady proceeded to tell me IT WAS BROKEN SO THEY WILL PAY FOR IT AT BROKEN PRICE, I then asked so I should sell my game for 20$ when your gonna turn around and sell it full used retail??? The lady then AGREED and said THEY WILL! BUT THEYRE GONNA PAY ME BROKEN ITEM PRICE, all bc of the little small piece, was really unprofessional at that! It seems The only reason they stay up float is because they rip people off of their stuff. Staff is important and it tells your business. GameStop...
Read moreDisorganized chaos. Store looks like the building could collapse at any time. Lots of things to look at, but it's all randomized and mixed in with each other. They have sections but games aren't always in the right ones. Employees cannot help multiple customers, which leads to lines backing up and taking too long. There are also roaches crawling around the cases and around the consoles. The building smells like mold and "lightning" hands out packs to her favorite people hanging around the counter all day, but doesn't help customers who will pay for things. Her attitude is very poor as well. Had to wait at least 30 min to get up to the counter to ask to see something in a xbox case that when I opened it, contained a different game. Card prices are pretty high, and they don't give even 40% cash, and horrible at conditioning cards. Overall disappointing, and was so excited to see this place... at least the employees were cute but either abrasive or shy. At least beth was helpful....
Read moreI frequented this store for many years and as times have changed so have my views. In depth; -I recommend this store for friendly staff who do their best and the wonderful owners. (5) -The video game selection and way Kevin takes care of any issues with used items is top notch. (5) -I cannot speak good nor ill of pokemon, yugioh, or lorcana. (3) -The selection of magic cards has declined heavily over the years with only about a 50% chance of finding what you want. (3) -In organized Magic play they really need a judge on hand. Multiple times players have violated tournament rules, when employees are available these issues are resolved peaceably, but the girls are very busy and cannot actively monitor. This leads to players wanting to settle it themselves instead of an impartial third party. (2)
Overall I have to give them 3 stars...
