I recently had an unfortunate experience at Huddle House and I feel compelled to share my honest review. The service I received was extremely poor, to say the least. Despite our waitress being friendly, we encountered several issues throughout our visit.
Firstly, when our food arrived, we realized that a significant portion of our order was missing. We had to specifically request the missing items from our waitress, who then had to communicate with the cook to prepare them. This resulted in a significant delay in receiving our complete meal.
Furthermore, when our plates did arrive, we discovered that the eggs were not cooked properly. It was evident that there was a lack of attention to detail and proper cooking techniques in the kitchen. It was truly disappointing to receive such poorly prepared dishes.
What was even more disheartening was the apparent lack of management or proper training amongst the staff. It seemed like either they had no common sense or were inexperienced, as mistakes and miscommunications were abundant.
To make matters worse, while waiting for the correct dishes to be remade, I couldn't help but overhear the staff engaging in passive-aggressive conversations about our situation. This unprofessional behavior only added to our frustration.
Overall, my experience at Huddle House left me greatly dissatisfied. The poor service, lack of attention to detail, and unprofessional conduct made it clear that improvements in management and staff training are desperately needed. I hope that they address these issues soon to ensure a better dining experience because normally huddle house is a great place to dine, I like the one in...
Read moreMy husband and I went here on Thanksgiving day. I can honestly say we will NEVER GO BACK! The WHOLE experience was awful! YES, we knew it was Thanksgiving day. So upon approaching the entrance, my husband was told, "Thank you for your service," as he's a military Vetran. He said "Thank you", and we all made small talk upon entering. We all went to our perspective seats. It wasn't very busy about 6 tables were occupied. About 1:30pm. We sat while deciding what to order and put the menus aside. Ordered our drinks Waited another 10 minutes for those. We sat for 35-45 minutes before our order was even taken. That should have been our warning! Another 35 minutes goes by and said orders are delivered to our table. My husband got his burger and my order was completely WRONG. I ordered steak,I can't even explain what was on the plate other than gravy. When I told the waitress it was not what I ordered, she got an attitude and processed to tell me that my NEW ORDER had to go to the back of previous orders! Needless to say that's NOT how it goes in restaurants. I asked to speak with manager and she came to the table I explained the situation. She processed to to snap and respond with- " YOU DO KNOW THAT IT'S THANKSGIVING DAY! RIGHT!" At this point we said that we were leaving! Asked for the bill She again snaps at us with- "NOT BEFORE YOU PAY YOUR BILL!" We had no intention of NOT PAYING for what we drank. Well, husband had taken 2 bites of his burger *that was cold when this all began. Needless to say we paid for the drinks and left! Best advice... ""DO NOT PATRONIZE HUDDLE HOUSE in...
Read moreStaff,: our waiter isn't qualified to run the front of the house. He's slow and spacey. The waitress was the only one who seemed to know what she was doing.
Food: all six plates, but two, were served cold. Not warm, cold. Possibly because our waiter wasn't paying any attention so the waitress brought them to our table while he stood there looking at her. 🤷🏼♀️
Commentary from table on food: Eggs and sausage were cold. Hashbrowns were overcooked and hard... also cold. These three things were inedible. Pancake... warm and decent. Biscuit and gravy, that we had to remind our waiter to bring to the table, was hot and also decent. Chicken fried steak was cold and unremarkable. Hsshbrowns also cold and inedible. Toast was forgotten and never received. We were told the kitchen staff forgot to make it. Southwest bowl was hot and okay. Hashbrowns were cold and has to use knife to cut them.
Restaurant: very cold and okay on cleanliness. First table had a little trash on it so we moved to another table.
The kitchen staff/back of the house... I'm not sure how to comment. The way things were cooked and plated it comes off as they don't care. Just very... sloppy (for lack of a better word).
As we went to pay the bill, I noticed there were about 10 plates waiting to be served. Between the slowness of the waiter and temperature of the restaurant our experience began to make sense.
Overall we were all disappointed and have no intention...
