This park is a gem! Once you enter it's as if you're miles away from all the busyness of the world. There are so many trees that surround the entire park with trails throughout, a very large pavillion, an amphitheater, volleyball court that's well maintained, a large grassy area, a stream running through and firepits with picnic tables and benches to sit at while roasting that make you feel like you're up in our beautiful mountains. Also, one of the few parks that allows dogs so please don't give the city a reason to take that privilege away by being responsible, considerate of others, and pick up after them. I love the little creek running through, and the secluded BBQ spots in the trees. There's no place like it I've ever seen. The sanded volleyball court and picnic tables hidden throughout are gems.... Little trails through the trees, and the wide open grassy spaces make this park extra special....
