Forbush Park — Attraction in Farmington

Farmington Elementary is right next to Forbush Park and has a really nice playground… there are plenty of structures for kids to climb, swing, and explore. The designs are modern and fun… it looks like they put thought into giving children a variety of ways to play.

That said, if the sun’s out…it can get pretty hot. The equipment, especially metal or plastic parts, heats up fast. I’d suggest some shaded areas or visiting when it’s cooler in the morning or late afternoon.

Aside from that, the space is clean and well-maintained… it feels safe and inviting. There’s enough room for kids to spread out without feeling crowded. Overall, it’s a great play area… just be mindful of the heat...

Great outdoor pool, nice snack bar prices and my kids had a blast there with their friends. Obviously you're not going to the pool for the best food of your life (the chicken fingers take forever) but I was impressed with the selection since we forgot to eat before we went. There were still plenty of chairs for you to watch the kids dive, swim or slide from on a hot summer afternoon. So we'll be back with another crew and enjoy the water some more next summer. This is small water park even though kids have gone back to school the weather is still very nice there is no reason not to have it open not to allow people to still have fun it was well maintained it seemed to be but you taking all the fun out of it by shutting it down and by not allowing anybody to come even in the afternoon maybe you don't open in the morning maybe even in the afternoon when the kids are...
