Farmington Elementary is right next to Forbush Park and has a really nice playground… there are plenty of structures for kids to climb, swing, and explore. The designs are modern and fun… it looks like they put thought into giving children a variety of ways to play.
That said, if the sun’s out…it can get pretty hot. The equipment, especially metal or plastic parts, heats up fast. I’d suggest some shaded areas or visiting when it’s cooler in the morning or late afternoon.
Aside from that, the space is clean and well-maintained… it feels safe and inviting. There’s enough room for kids to spread out without feeling crowded. Overall, it’s a great play area… just be mindful of the heat...

Obviously you're not going to the pool for the best food of your life (the chicken fingers take forever) but I was impressed with the selection since we forgot to eat before we went. There were still plenty of chairs for you to watch the kids dive, swim or slide from on a hot summer afternoon. So we'll be back with another crew and enjoy the water some more next summer.
