Painting with a Twist — Attraction in Farragut

Inadequate instructor who doesnt seem to like his job; our entire group had difficulty with both his instruction & attitude. I've been to other places where they make this fun! Sadly, that's not the case here.

Note to owners comment: Yes, there was an accident on the rd & i arrived late. Sadly unavoidable. But was super excited to join! The entire group who did arrive on time felt exactly the same. While painting the instructors painting, were feeling his negative attitude & remarks, lacking his help, & did not enjoy their time either! He did not want to answer their questions & even left early!! All the while, you guys play inappropriate music not suitable for the general public. We all did not appreciate hearing profanity while painting. Not good, nor professional. In fact, you personally called and apologized. And you initially apologized on here to me and are now changing your comments to defend the inappropriateness. That just highlights the nature of your business' attitude: negative.

Bottomline: THIS PLACE IS NOT FUN! it's a painting party, it should be a blast! That's the point. Go...

Never actually got to paint. We scheduled 5 places for my mom and my husband and my kids to paint, at 3:00 on Friday the kids schools went into lockdown due to a bomb threat and no one was being released. We waited for hours for the kids to be let out of school. We thankfully got them home safely around 5:45, but painting was to start at 5. We emailed , texted and called to see about rescheduling due to this crazy, unforeseen event that made it impossible for us to get there - we live about 30-40 minutes away from the Turkey Creek location. We left several requests for a call back, but never got a response. Super disappointed. We were looking forward to celebrating my mom’s birthday, but we will find something else to do. Why post a phone number and email address if you’re not going to check them - or worse - not call someone back after an extreme circumstance that was completely out of their hands?? Not cool. You can have my $200, but we will never schedule...

This was a horrible experience. The instructor did not "instruct". If you do not know how to paint, do not go here. I was expecting someone to show me step by step how to create the painting, in a fun, up-beat environment. This did not happen. I was basically given a board and told to make mine look like the picture. The instructor stood in front of her painting while she painted so I didn't even have a point of reference for what to do. It was very frustrating. I was crowded in with other painters sitting on a very uncomfortable stool. No one hardly talked - for 2 solid hours. It was miserable. I couldn't wait for it to be over. I was devastated I had spent so money and driven over an hour to get there for such a horrible experience. I ended up painting my board black and leaving. I had read all the information on the website and was so looking forward to a good time. Such a let down! Save your time and money and go...
