Me and my boyfriend visited your establishment today for breakfast. Once inside waiting to be seated the young girl was on the phone with a order. A tall lady came and went behind counter. Never addressed my present as my friend was parking the car.
Several people came up waiting to pay for the food. All white partons. I've been standing waiting to be asked how many or I'll be right with you. A younger white couple came in and she Immediately asked how many?I Interrupted and said ' I was next'. The young lady also said she was already here before us. Me thinking really. She asked me how many and to follow her.
When finally got seated they where busy. But a waiter said ' I'll be right with you in a minute. We watched different people come in and get seated. The waiter a short , middle aged male waited on multiple tables refilling drinks. But the kicker was a, white couple was seated and giving water and order taken immediately mind you we have not been offered water, be right with you nothing. So after seeing this. We stopped a young lady and told her we haven't been waited on, offered any water and we've been waiting patiently. She immediately apologized and brought our drink order and took our order immediately . We probably realized we had been seated for awhile.
Food was great. Had the country fried steak special. My friend had the omelette. If it wasn't for the female waitress we would have left. I hate to think that this was intentional. But it sure felt some type of way. Treat each patron equally. Very nice establishment, food is great but customer service needs to improve we care all God's children. We have been to this place many times and always the food was great, the service was great and it was one of our go to breakfast places in Farragut or West Knox.. I picked this place for my mothers Day breakfast and massive disappointment. And we even ate here during covid and it was great. They have recently renovated and something happened.. Food took well over an hour to come, when it did it was cold, and it sure didnt taste the same at all and the portions were way smaller.. Cheese was hardly even melted in the eggs.. Anyway it took so long for the food we made the best of it and ate it.. when we got our server to come back to the table I did mention that the food was cold and no I wasnt rude either.. to which she replied "We bring out the food when its hot".. and then she turned and walked away. She didnt say anything else nor did she come back. It was so disappointing. Wasnt in the mood to argue on mothers day.. One of the worst breakfasts we have ever had and we arent that picky.. We didnt have anything weird just pancakes and waffles and an omelette. We did have a side of corned beef hash and it wasnt like grilled with a crispy side like we have had many times before.. it was just brought greasy in a bowl..
Sad this place has gone downhill.. evidently the renovation must have affected the food quality and the staff :-( Im all about promoting local restaurants but not at this place now,
Not sure what is going on with this place but we wont be back and we wont recommend it...

Spoke with management personnel at time of payment remittance about how menu had grouped items together then an extra charge price of 1.25 each. Each item or each group of items? There was 5 DOLLARS in add ons for pancake breakfast add 1.25 for buckwheat - ok understand, then 1.25 for 7 blueberries, 1.25 for 6 pecans, 1.25 for 6 slices of banana. When such pricing was brought up to the manager he said " yes the menu has a lot of errors that's the way it is" mmm... AWLFUL CUSTOMER centric focus and SERVICE position to take. I could see a 1.25 add for buckwheat, and a 1.25 add for the grouping of blueberries, pecans and banana or the menu changed to place price above or next to (not below) with the following " 1.25 per each item added. Another way is to place a comma after each item not group them as currently printed. BOTTOM LINE is: 2 stars versus 1 star because manager did relent and make a modest price adjustment that was satisfactory - but a heads up BEWARE. Just seemed due to his defensive posture it was a common issue and I wasn't the only one who has brought up the menu format concern.
