Red Oak Park — Attraction in Fayetteville

A typical Fayetteville homebuilder compliance park. Take the least buildable land in a subdivision, put in the lowest-cost most basic amenities, and boom - it's a park. The north end has a basketball court, and just south of New Bridge is a gazebo. Then along the thin narrow middle section is a woodland trail that is not maintained, so not passable most of the year. At the large south end is a covered picnic pavilion, a circular walking track, and two climbing structures - one of which has reached the end of its useful life and is deteriorating. The city does the occasional basic maintenance like mowing the grass....
