Um what? I got an automated call at 5:18pm saying my pharmacy prescription was ready for pick up (Finally. I've been waiting since 1:30pm when they initially received and acknowledged the order). The automated call I received said they close at 9pm tonight. I literally got my keys and got into my car right after the call. Made it there by 5:40 (I live about 20 mins away) and this is what's on the dang window. "Due to staffing issues, the pharmacy will be closing at 5pm." Why the heck did you call and say it's ready then, at 5:18pm might I add, if y'all are closing early???? And then as I'm sitting there livid reading this note, I get a text 8 minutes later at 5:48pm saying they're closing early. Sooo, if you were closing at 5pm, don't you think you should have text people BEFORE 5 PM that you're closing at 5pm? Uh, and not text me at 5:12pm and call at 5:18pm saying my order is ready and to come pick it up?! Zero concern for other people's time. Unbelievable. I've never heard of a retail/pharmacy closing because they just felt like it. When I've worked retail, if they don't have staff then MANAGER has to step in and work the front desk, even if it's just to hand over people's already-filled prescriptions due to no pharmacist on duty. Y'all don't have a contingency plan??
Secondly, I have a prescription that was ordered by my doctor on Monday. Went to pick it up and they said it's out of stock. Ok so now what? It's now Friday and are they getting it in stock?? Haven't even heard from them on update or anything. I guess they're just like, oh well sorry. You didn't need that nebulizer breathing solution anyway. Breathing is overrated...
Read moreThe pharmacy staff are unorganized and rude. I placed an order last month that usually takes a couple of business days to arrive at the pharmacy. When I never heard anything about it arriving, I went to the pharmacy a week after I ordered it. The lady at the window said that it never arrived on the truck. A month later, I go into the store because I never saw the status in an email and when I called, it said my prescription no longer existed! I went to the counter and the young girl that was working was rude and had a bad attitude. Then the store manager came and helped me look up my prescription just to find out that THEY NEVER ORDERED IT. A whole month has gone by and I’ve checked on it and called for it several times. This prescription isn’t available in any stores so now I have to wait again. Will it be another month? Who knows. Don’t go here if you want your prescription in hand at the correct time. I should have done my research on...
Read moreFor now that's all I can give for ratings later. I might be able to give a higher rating but for now that's all I can do. I had to switch to a different Walgreens on Wedington in Fayetteville, Arkansas due to the other store I was using closed. (the staff at that pharmacy was very nice and helpful when needed.) The pharmacy on Wedington called me and the lady was very rude and abrupt. She was not very patient in explaining things to me. And she very rudely said unless I fill all of my prescriptions at Walgreens they will not fill my pain medicine!?? I don't know if that's a Walgreens policy or just that store? I will give it a little bit of time, but I may switch from Walgreens...
