American beach was a very interesting place to visit...... The juxtaposition between.... Brand new big houses on stilts.... And the remnants of the Small buildings or metal roofed homes from the past nearly 100 years ago..... I'm so glad that these homes have been preserved.... With at least some historical indication of what they were doing there.... And that's some of them still survive and can't be knocked down........ More people should learn about what happened to lax during the Jim crow era..... And how other Americans in this country were treated by the government and other PEOPLE..... There were remnants of small restaurants that were run by the people..... And the remembrance of Juke joints.... That were actually still there in the 80s and 90s.... And plus the beach is absolutely beautiful..... This was a respite for black people... During some horrible times in...

It was a moment of pure simplicity—just the cold breeze, the moonlit beach, and the unbridled joy of our furry companions.

Time seemed to stand still as we watched them, the beauty of the scene etching itself into memory. It was one of those rare nights where nature felt perfectly aligned, peaceful,...

Love this beach! So clean and the water is beautiful in the summer. In the public park close by it’s free to get into (there’s also showers and bathrooms). There is some construction happening right now, which does make it a little tricky to find a parking spot, but overall great place to take your family for...
