Crimson & Gold Piercing — Attraction in Ferndale

I got my first ever piercings here last week and I can't emphasize enough how accommodating Crimson and Robb are!! I originally walked in for a consultation. Crimson was thorough in not only going through each and every question I had regarding the piercings, but helped me browse through jewelry aswell; making sure I was able to buy pieces within my budget. They were truly patient, informed me of all my choices, and even customized my jewelry to fit my favorite color. Due to the peaceful atmosphere and how inviting she was, I felt comfortable getting my piercings that same day, which Crimson was gracious in letting me schedule right then, considering I was a walk in at that point. Robb did my piercings and was also amazing. He explained each part of the process to me and asked for my consent every step of the way. He stressed the fact that I could speak up if I wanted to change the position of my piercings before getting them and helped quell my anxiety. We had great conversation and he asked how I was doing after each piercing. He was also very informative as far as instructions on taking care of my piercings and even gave me a pamphlet and sticker. I almost forgot to mention the complementary snacks which were also very appreciated. Overall, this was an amazing first piercing experience and I cannot thank Robb and Crimson enough. Listen...the sad reality is that you never really know you have had a bad piercing by a bad piercer until 1) its much too late, 2) you have a great piercing by an awesome piercer and realize the healing time and process itself SHOULD NOT BE GUT WRENCHINGLY PAINFUL. Save yourself the consequence and suffering of going elsewhere to find out the hard way whether you've had a good or bad piercing. I've had my share throughout the years and can say from very personal experience, Crimson is the hands-down best piercer in metro Detroit. Her exceptional sanitary measures, premium jewelry and professionalism scratch the surface. She takes the time to explain each step thoroughly, kindly and honestly answering every question before I even had to ask and she knows exactly what she is doing. My piercings are gorgeous, they've healed beautifully and in less time than the exact same piercings I've had done elsewhere. I had an amazing experience at Crimson and Gold today. I found this place on Google and I knew it would be a great place to go based on the reviews. Crimson was the one who did my navel piercing. I went in super nervous, but they made me feel very comfortable and waited until I was fully ready to be pierced. Everything was EXTREMELY sanitary (hard to come by when most piercing shops just want to get people quickly in and out). The placement for the piercing is perfect and they were just so kind and sweet and patient. This would be the perfect place to get any piercing, especially if you are a little bit nervous.
