I ordered the Bowl (I LOVE polenta) and the fried zucchini bites. Both were very good. I got the food carryout, so unfortunately the zucchini bites were a bit on the soggy side. If I had thought of it, I would have thrown them in the air fryer and crisped them back up. They were cooked through and the batter was tasty. The sauce and meat on the polenta was great! Very much enjoyed the flavors.
Deducted one star because the guy at the counter was downright surly. He did everything right, but he seemed to have a scowl on his face while I waited and he pulled the order together.
I did note when I was there they have tables. I am not sure if they have table service, but the food would be even better sitting down, food straight from the kitchen, on regular plates. Read moreI’m not sure how this place has 5 stars. The chicken parm had 4 cutlets on it, and after unhinging my jaw to take a bite, I was left underwhelmed. The sandwich was soggy and very basic, the silver lining was the bread (which would be better toasted).
The baked ziti was worse than bland - almost artificial tasting. It wasn’t even baked, nor was it ziti pasta.
Drinks were $3 and there were no Italian drinks like San Pellegrino or A’Siciliana. Mexican Fanta and Topo Chico were the only foreign choices. The waiting couch also contained several far-left magazines, which makes sense. Living up to their ideology: no flavor, but equal portions...
