I came here to buy a puzzle. I bought it as a gift for my husband the other day as assembling puzzles is one of his favorite past times. I brought it home to him excited to surprise him with a premium looking very "aesthetic" (as the kids say) puzzle.
He started on the puzzle almost immediately and within minutes of starting he tells me that the pieces aren't cut well- many are stuck together, some are broken, others break or tear as you try to separate them with the usual force you'd use to begin a puzzle. At this point I'm not sure who's more disappointed & frustrated.
Within 2 hours of purchase I return to the store for a refund for a puzzle that costs more than 2x as much as the average puzzle but performs like it came from the dollar store. (Which would be fine if I'd actually paid $1 at the dollar store). Of course this would be a breeze right? Since I returned as a dissatisfied customer within hours of purchasing, receipt and product in hand.
Nope. At first they just told me they don't accept returns on puzzles. Next as I explained the problem someone who im presuming was the owner/manager came over to tell me that no one had ever returned this puzzle before even though I- a customer was standing in front of him, ya know- returning it.
Finally they said that they'd give me the exchange (even though I'd asked for a refund) to buy more things from the store which in this event had not given me any confidence with which to shop there or recommend the...

Lost our business for good. Also, the employees are pretty rude. My nephew put his mouth on a whistle on a different stop in, which clearly meant I was buying it for him, and the employee walked over and said “congratulations, you just purchased that whistle.” Super condescending and rude. We walked out and we’re just gonna finish our drinks outside then come back in. Then this family with a whole PIZZA box walked in and they didn’t say anything to them even though after we walked outside we checked the door and it said no food OR drink.
