I booked the #7 Hot Spot shelter in June 11th got our 1st grandson 1st birthday party. I was already in awwww when I first it. It was breathtaking beautiful awesome park with built in concrete for sitting and food. Very smart & shout out to the builder because I have never seen a park like this before. I was excited to be here the playground the bathroom the walking trail hands down amazing but the only downfall is people who have come and already try to mess up this nice beautiful park people who have used it with unnecessary party with tent & alcohol who will make it look bad for other people. I have an incident on that day before our party started where 2 islanders came and used the grill and playing their music they knew it was RESERVED but they went ahead and cook their food there I'm not sure how long they were there until my niece arrived to decorate and that's when she call me I immediately went up there and ask them if they have a permit of course they don't they lied and said they call the office it was first come first serve yeah that was another lie obviously you saw the sign and everywhere else on the other side it was all reserved but still decided to cook. So disrespectful and so sad if you don't have them stay home and do your party at your house. People like this ruined it for everyone. I politely told both of them to please leave and they did ending up they went to the corner of the other side from the other 6 shelters and put up 2 tents bringing alcohol and do their party there. I think they need a security there. It is a very nice park and these people are ruin it . But overall experience was over the top. We had a great time and hoping that we are not going to run into these people again because we are planning on booking the #7 again for family gathering. I'm happy that I find that park. Nature is...
Read moreIt might just be the pandemic or it might be the fact that kids are in daycare and adults are at work during the day, but that Park is an exceptionally quiet place where I am free to do my workouts outdoors without any distractions or loud noises. Every time I have gone to that Park to do my little workouts outdoors and catch some fresh air, all I ever see is retirees walking their dogs and everybody just keeps a nice distance.
The fact that the park is kind of tucked out of sight and out of the way makes it feel like I'm working out in a private place even if I'm outdoors in public.
mind you, even if there were a thousand people at that Park, I seem to have no problem getting in a workout while I'm distanced away from everybody else. Anyone that has ever shown up, pandemic or not, has practiced enough social distancing so is not to crowd the other patrons, which I...
Read moreThis a great park with lots of shrubbery, grass, and trees. It has a great wheelchair friendly picnic table area with sidewalk trail that is shaped in a triangular shape. It has a fun walking bridge that has a small creek flowing through it. We were in the park ok the middle of summer so not a lot of water was present. Our family and dog loved this park and we ate our lunch at the tables. The only eye sore was at the parking lot you had a row of trucks on the left and the beautiful park with all the trees on the right when you enter the...
