Tarmigan At Wapato Creek — Local services in Fife

I had recently moved into these apartments having been recently forced out of my past apartment of 10 years due to renovations. Admittedly, Meridian Pointe apartments (prior apartment) needed renovation desperately. But I was told not to worry about renovations kicking me out at Tarmigan apartments for a long while.. little did I know or was informed that a 'long while' would be 12 months...

Tyson and Jamie are truly awesome and my review is no reflection on their awesomeness. The staff here is great and I guess I'm just really upset I have to move...living here you are so n the middle of everywhere. There are parks, trails, fast freeway access, and shopping and school bus service. I didn't ever think the walls were thin. In fact the quiet here is one of its best attributes. This facility is much newer than any others around... Newer insulation, newer pipes, =quieter with healthier water...

It is truly unfortunate because I absolutely love living here. Super comfortable residence which magically stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter... When I get stressed I can look out my back window or door and see Mount Rainier, trees, birds... I finally thought I'd found the place for me... I'm hoping I can move across the walkway to the next unit over. But knowing how the parent company works, I'm not holding my breath and I'm left with another disappointment by giving my money for 11 years to this company. Tarmigan is awesome and I'm just super bummed. I never even tried the pool, now I have to pack...again

This place is perfect and I'm just sad I have to move... Again.

Update. Now 6-8 months later I'm in my new digs and Jamie and Tyson are still the best around. I encountered some problems and the management team here was awesome and were committed to help fix my issues. I'm bumping my review to 5 stars because frankly, I can't think of any...

I have lived here for a little over three years and I have nothing but great things to say about these apartments. First of all, they are very spacious. Maintenance is so good and quick about resolving any issue inside the unit. Tyson The manager and Jamie The assistant manager are awesome!!! They are both Extremely helpful with every question or issue I have ever had. Not to mention, this is a very safe community. I have never heard ambulance or police sirens. It is very quiet here and everybody is very respectful. One time, I saw somebody leave a car mat to dry on the hood of their car, which was a little unusual but nobody Took it and it was there until the next day. I also ordered Uber groceries one day and for some reason they couldn’t find my unit and I had fell asleep so they ended up leaving all my grocery bags by the mailboxes. They were there for a few hours and nobody took them. This place is very safe. I have never ever had a package delivered at my front door from Amazon or anywhere else that has been stolen. Sometimes I go out of town and come back to a pile of boxes. I have done this many times. The people here are pretty nice. Sometimes my neighbors leave little pet poop bags outside of their doors overnight and if I am walking down my unit in the morning to leave my apartment, I will just take it to the trash for them. Maintenance is always very friendly, they will always smile if I run into them. They just renovated the gym inside the office which we have 24 access to which is super cool And the pool is always very well maintained. I really like...

I lived in this apartment complex for a little under a year. It was a decent experience but there are a few issues that left me very disappointed. First off, not even a week since I moved in, my next door neighbor had their unit broken into. I never received an email for any communication by management about this incident. It would have been nice to know this to take extra precautions for my own security.. THANKFULLY, I did find out directly from that neighbor that had this incident. They also let me know that management was actually encouraging them to NOT let others know!

Another issue I had was when I moved out. I wasn't reminded to contact the Tacoma power company to disconnect my account. This led me charged for several months after I left. As a first-time renter, I wasn't aware that this was something I needed to do myself. I reached out to management to see if I could get refunded but was told it was my responsibility according to the lease agreement. While I understand that it's in the contact, it would have been nice to have a little more courtesy for this issue, especially for someone who was unfamiliar with...
