Children's Museum of Findlay — Attraction in Findlay

Very creative way to teach young children. I wish they had some informals paired with the exhibits like the corn and quarry areas however. Interactive, safe and very good way to easily burn a kid out in the cold. My least favorite area has to be the ball pit but easily avoidable. I was amazed that the dentist chair was actually functional. The water area has an interesting smell due to chemicals if assume for bacteria purposes and lacks an attention grabber to keep the children there for more than a moment. The children's museum is really quite nice but I do have a few safety concerns that parents need to be aware of so their children are not injured while there. Please do not leave them unattended for their safety. First: the doors on the police car are regularly slammed closed and present a huge risk for small fingers. Second: the dentist's chair sits in a corner and when being lowered has no emergency stop. It is easy to imagine a small child not understanding how the switch works and being pressed between the...

This was a fun little place to go for a short afternoon trip. The exhibits allow for safe exploration of some different areas which was nice for kids.

The walls between exhibits are half height so it facilitates seeing all over.

You need to supervise your own children which is fine, but some parents do this to differing degrees.
