University of Findlay — Attraction in Findlay

Sue King is not someone to go to for the barn program. The horses are mistreated in the barn program. Half of them have mental and physical issues due to the lack of turn out, over riding, under feeding, and terrible medical care. I would not recommend bringing your horse into the program or even riding one of their horses in the program. There is a horrible retention rate in the program because the students are mistreated and beaten down, or they leave because they can't stand the way the horses are treated. The coaching is useless, they have no riders above training level, and the only decent riders they have are the ones assigned to one of the few decent horses. The majority of students will be overworked on terrible horses and severely injured through negligent barn managers or misbehaving horses. I am writing this as a parent for an alumni. My son was there from 2010-2014 where because of the help & involvement of his professors & advisers he was able to graduate with honors with 2 bachelor degrees & 4 minors. He had 2 paid internships in his field of study & both of which made him excellent offers upon graduation. He had several other cooperate offers as well but decided to stay with the large cooperation he interned at where he would have advancement opportunities.

This campus is beautiful & the staff went above & beyond our expectations from our very first campus visit all the way through his graduation.

Our son was involved in many extracurricular activities & loved campus life. And yes it is a dry campus as in no alcohol permitted on the grounds.

Our second son attended a state college & wishes that he would have went private.

Actually this university takes no starts. Specially international students plseas don't come to this university, these university spoils the students career and after that they don't even care. They just care about your money, they take money like water. I really advice to all international students to follow up with your consultancies and let them know not to take this university as your higher education. I'm experienced international students. They mess up with career and later on they don't even give response.
