Fort Island Trail Park — Attraction in Florida

This boat ramp does not meet great quality standards. The ramp is covered in algae. Admittedly this could be due to the hurricanes. Upon arriving I decided not to use the ramp because my truck is only 2 wheel drive and decided it wasn’t a risk I wanted to take. I was sent an invoice for $50 because I didn’t pay the $10 usage fee. They claim I used the ramp simply because I drove through with a trailer. I disputed saying I didn’t use the ramp because of all the algae and didn’t want to risk sliding into the water. The picture they had with my jetski still on the trailer is not proof I used the ramp. Show me a picture with the jetski in the water or an empty trailer. They reduced it to $25 “in fairness”. Now I have to jump through more hoops through another third party company. So beware simply driving through is going to cost you even though the ramp they provide may not...

Decided last minute for a fishing trip found Richard who is also a veteran one of the best fishing trips I been on I've done a few he loves what he does very knowledgeable of everything about catching you some great fish took me to all good spots so some dolphin on the way which was better then any dolphin cruise .kept my hook baited and fish took off the hook.i highly recommend Richard of tops charters for a great day of fishing and great conversation and help support...

Went here for the first time today. We loved it!! very clean boat ramp. Restrooms were clean and stocked. It has bbq grills and covered picnic tables. We seen sooo many mantees and dolphins we lost count. Several.people were fishing on the dock, everybody was friendly. It's a great place to take The family and have a picnic. Make sure you bring bug spray though, the no see ums...
