Are you looking for a GREAT gym with classes? Look no further. This park is one of the shining stars in the constellation of parks that the Collier County parks systems has. While it doesn't have the free splash playground that you can find in Vineyards, it does have the waterpark on its property. Locals get discounts on tickets or can buy a season pass. The gym here is fantastic, and the cost is nowhere near what other gyms in town charge. The equipment is kept up, it's clean, and the staff is super friendly. You can even request an orientation from the staff if you are intimidated. The benefit of that is that you'll be shown how to use the equipment safely, which is paramount for those who are starting out. If you want to try it out, you can, much the same way you would any of the gyms you see advertised on tv. You can also take classes (yoga, zumba, kickboxing, a ball and mat class, circuit training) with your membership. The county also offers discounts to based on certain employment (teachers, police, etc.). Be sure to ask. You'll also find this place is rocking and rolling during soccer and baseball season. This is a great park all around, and it really does offer something for everyone in the N. Collier region. But there's so much more to be done here. . .there are many events that are held in the community center rooms, ranging from camp programs to political town halls to regional school...

We've always enjoyed this park! It's right next to the Sun-n-Fun water park, and across the little street from the C'mon Children's Museum. It's all part of a huge park that has paths for biking /walking, soccer & baseball fields, etc. There is a community center where people can work out (childcare as well), and county administration services emerge you can obtain your Collier resident beach stickers, rent pavilions for Park parties, etc. They offer youth programs (Summer camps, etc.) Within the enclosed playground area is a cool (covered) area called "Can You Dig It?" where they have a special substrate kids can play on and dig through. Underneath there are affixed 'artifacts' stock you can identify using the posted signs. Many people bring beach scoops, and even sometimes items to buried that can be found. Those items should be large enough, though, that no child can choke on them. *NOTE" This is a park, and kids will get dirty, especially in the Dig It area, so be sure to have them wear clothes are okay get dirty from playing (maybe even bring extra clothes to change then into), and wipes to clean off their skin. In October 2016 they put canopies over most of the play areas, which is wonderful! The only uncovered play areas are the children's swings, which nobody really understands, because South FL sun is brutal on parents swinging their...

We really love this park. It's much more expansive than I think many people realize. It's got an indoor exhibit hall, where you can also take care of getting your county parking stickers or renting pavilions at parks for parties. It has a fitness complex, fields for soccer and softball, a nature/walking path, a water park (called Sun-N-Fun, with an awesome lazy river), and a terrific children's play area. Parent's can relax because the area is enclosed, but open enough for the kids to have lots of fun. There are all sorts of jungle gym things to do, plus the "Can You Dig It" fossil dig. They've got some percussive instruments to play with that even adults find irresistible. There are a number of pavilions there, and if those are all taken the dig it area is also covered. The gym areas have protection from the sun as well. The only parts of the kids area that does not have protection is the swings, which we parents don't understand, but it's still a great park. They have all sorts of activities, classes and camps all year round. A simple search should get you to the county web site where you can find the latest listings of things to do. Oh, and let's not forget that the C'mon Children's Museum is in this same huge area of fun. It's fantastic for the...

We live 20 minutes away from this park, and we come with frequency. There is a nature walk that includes a boardwalk portion and a paved portion. The boardwalk portion goes through a Cypress swamp, which then transitions into a slash pine Forest. This path is popular for family walks, joggers, and roller skating. The community center has a large gym with indoor basketball court and other amenities. You can find bathrooms in there. There are also large soccer fields on the North end of the park. The playground within the park is called "Can U Dig It". It includes a shaded portion where kids can dig for archeological artifacts, or simply bring digging toys. It's a great retreat from the summer heat or on light raining days. The playground also includes large rocks for climbing, and two shaded play areas for kids of different ages. There are multiple picnic pavilions for anyone to use, unless they are reserved for parties.

Great fields for soccer and baseball or softball. They also have a water park which was closed when we were there-might have been the hours though or that we were there for a soccer tournament. The bathrooms were a bit dirty and some stalls didn’t close because the door locks were broken. But they had TP and soap (although soap was low and some dispensers were out). Very wheelchair accessible, the only problem I saw was that the access from the fields to the sidewalks had a clay connection and when it rains it gets really goopy and gross, footwear and wheelchair operators would get very dirty after a rain. However, the fields themselves were nice, parking was free, many people had to park along the street so it wasn’t laid out well for a major tournament but for a smaller one it was ok.
