Post hurricanes it’s got a couple muddy areas still but mostly dry. They did a good job of cutting and clearing the trees from the path. Definitely able to traverse.
This a fantastic hike. It’s labeled a mountain biking trail, but I cannot imagine riding on it. There are lots of deep divets between tree roots, rickety bridges, and the path becomes very narrow at some points. Not to mention some of it is just inches away from sliding into the river. Part of the path travels through an old hollowed out tree which is cool. It’s gorgeous there, you can get into a shallow part of the river where there are lots of shells. However, many of the people who visit are filthy pigs who don't bother to clean up after themselves. Never visit after a game unless you like looking at other people's garbage or having your kid wander around through it. Or, maybe the people who visit should actually put an effort to clean their own filth. It's not that hard to carry it twenty feet to...
