It is beyond me for some poor buyers to label this auction as "racist" and I would wager that most of these buyers are new to the business. We own a car lot less than two miles from the old Cocoa Auto Auction; after they closed we decided to try Billy's sale. We are extremely satisfied with the great selection of new car trades. Also owning a body shop, we are able to pick up some nice units with cosmetic faults.
Those of you who give this business one star probably fail to do your due diligence. I have only been in this business for 47 years and I am not smart enough to attend the auction on Friday morning and buy cars without any faults. We have changed our strategy being a smaller dealership to buy cars only twice a month! We can check over and scan 8 units bi-weekly, only needing two carriers per month. SELECTION! makes us loyal customers. We buy 100% of our units at Orlando-Longwood.
As to a rude staff, that is pure bunk! One morning I was suffering a diabetic incident and everyone was concerned!! If you have to play the race card you need to get a new deck of cards and become professional buyers. Do your home work and instead of buying losers you can come home with good cars. My sainted grand father used to tell me that you don't make money when you sell the car but when you buy it! Too many lazy people in...
Read moreOur colleagues warned us. We should have listened! We regret it bad. I inspected and purchased a vehicle in near perfect cosmetic and great running condition. Upon arrival my automobile was not in it's reserved location. After reporting this to management the hunt for my car began. Following a three hour search the car was finally located. The car was wrecked, vandalized, and dead in the corner of the lot. The body was dented and had absolutely no engine oil. Our attention was instantly drawn to the bottom end knocking upon starting. The car would need a new engine. A total loss. We suspected someone had joy ridden the car around the parking lot. Observing the auctions employees using purchased vehicles as their own personal taxis I believe this could also very well have been the case of our damaged car in this scenario. OLAA Auction Longwood refused to let my associate and I view the recorded video tape of the incident. This company's response was that they conducted a review of the footage and decided there was nothing they can do....
Read moreI am the owner of Baker's Amazing Car Sales in Jacksonville Florida I bought online a 2014 Jeep Wrangler last Friday green light but today when I received it the engine was knocking , I called OLAA Auction for Arbitration but they told me green light doesn't cover the engine knocking and I should buy sale inspection before the vehicle leaves the Auction in this way any issue will be honored buy the Auction . Green light sale in all Florida Auctions guarantee any mechanical issue exceed $600 cost of repair. So I don't why Longwood Auction have different policy. it looks like it is a way to scam dealers by let them buy online the vehicle green light and if anything wrong with it they don't accept to return it and they blame the dealer not buying post sale inspection .I tried to speak with GM but no luck. So consider this message as alert to all dealers to be careful when they buy online from...
