Update Below**
Ordered 2 bags of level mix when it was on sale at the end of February. Delivery was scheduled for Friday, May 15 between 1115 am - 3:15 pm. No show. I called the “888” number listed on the delivery confirmation text at 4:34 pm. Phone rep started an inquiry. Initial update was it was delivered. Advised Rep. It was not so they went back to system. Returned and said the delivery was still on its way. Luckily, as I was explaining to the Rep. that I would continued to wait since it was still coming, they advised me a store manager was going to reach out to me. While I was on the phone I received 2 missed calls and a voice mail. I returned the call, twice, both went straight to voicemail, maybe this was because it was after closing time. I wait a few minutes and another person called and advised the truck was involved in a accident and my bags would not be delivered today, Friday, but would be delivered Saturday.
Since a delivery time was not given, I believed, my bags would be delivered as one of the first. I waited until 1056 on Saturday and called again. The phone Rep. stated that my delivery was scheduled for 12:15 am - 2:15 pm. I requested to speak with a manager and the rep. replied that she had one right behind her and placed me on hold. The rep. returned quickly and asked why I wanted to speak with a manager. I informed the rep. that I am disgruntled that my delivery should have been put to the front of the line. She advised that she was in call center and the store location was closed so there was no one that I could speak to at the store. She continued by informing me the route is planned on delivery locations, otherwise the drivers would be driving around and “waisting fuel”. So I stated that the customers time is less important than the company’s fuel cost to correct an issue as best possible for the customer. The rep. with finality, stated nothing can be done about it and we disconnected.
I called back at 2:46 to check the status but was met with a voicemail prompt stating it was after their normal business hours for Saturday, closing at 12pm. Interesting I called at 1056 and received the call center and was advised the store was closed. It is 3:16pm and still have not received my product.
Received the delivery on Easter Sunday. Spoke with Daniel with Super Sod after he conducted a full investigation, including the recordings from my conversations with the call center. He advised both my calls to the call center weren’t handled correctly. As to the delivery not showing on Saturday, he advised the contract driver, not normal driver, failed to inform Super Sod management of him not being able to make the deliveries as well as not informing the customers.
I believe Daniel when he said that Super Sod does not conduct business in this manner and will do everything to ensure it doesn’t happen in the future. This is all I requested but Daniel went further to ensure my satisfaction. Super Sod Forest Park retained a long lasting customer!!!

Proceed with caution. Not BBB accreditated. On the 28th of November, 2023 at 1:45 pm, my Client place a order for 13 pallets of Tif\Tif Bermuda Sod worth Over $3300 and delivery fees of $250. After the order was placed I received the email invoice along with the confirmation text with a delivery time between 10:16 am to 1:16 pm. Preparing for 13 pallets to be delivered I had a full team of 5 men and a skid steer onsite waiting and ready for the delivery to arrive. Approximately 1:00 pm, I reached out to Super Sod to inquire on the status of the delivery. During that phone call we was notified that the delivery time has been changed to between 3:00-5:00 pm. This was completely unacceptable. We was not notified of the major change in delivery timing. The order was placed at 1:45 and the confirmation email was sent after 4:00 pm, whatever time adjustments need to be made should of occurred prior to the confirmation email and text and I could of planned my team accordingly. (Please see Confirmation text regarding Delivery ETA attached). Due to Super Sod lack of communication, this has caused my company a great financial lost due to no fault of my own. This lack of communication has affected our reputation. Which is completely unfair to us as a Customer of Super Sod. It is due to rain here the next couple of days and with Sod being a perishable, it has to be installed immediately. I voiced my concerns and significant loss to Stacy a call-center manager, who requested proof of the confirmation who agreed to refund the account $100.00. Again, this is completely unacceptable. I took a major loss due to Super Sod negligence and they failed to accommodate. Additional Site manager invoice Kim McQueen involved. Read moreThe reasoning behind the 4 stars rating is that I received a very wet bag of soil. It was in the form for a perfect square . The soil wasn't spreadable. The soil was taken out the bag so it could dry some. The soil turned into hard clumps after three days. I went to the Forest Park location where the soil was purchased from and spoke with Austin the manager. He told me that I would have to put in some work to spread the soil. I advised him that tools had been rented and labor been done on my end and I shouldn't have to work so hard for additional money have been spent , and the two big yellow bags cost $400 . He told me that all the soil was wet and if I wanted to exchange it I could. I advised him that I would have to check with my neighbor and friend who doing the work . However my friend and neighbor went to the location the same day to complain . They were told by Austin he would send a dryer bag of soil which he would check himself and pick up the old soil. When the new delivery date came , We were advised that Austin never checked the bag (he wasn't at work), there were no notes to pick up the old soil. The driver Mr. Eric Foster ( from the Marietta location) despite not having any instructions on getting the old soil was very accommodating to us. He took the soil that was in the bag that we tried to repackage and loaded it off. Mr. Foster was kind, professional, and patient with us. He let us check the soil before he left. Mr. Foster saved this review . Super Sod seems to be a good product just far, however customer service leaves something to desire.
