Economy Hotel Forest Park — Hotel in Forest Park

This hotel has went up in prices it use to be $25 a night now it is way more expensive. Not only that but it is advertised as having "microwaves/minifridges" in the rooms and it has NEITHER! They want you to pay $40-$60 dollars to include one in your room. There was a microwave in the lobby but now all of a sudden it is "broken". Microwaves aren't expensive, the one that was in the lobby looked as if it came from the thrift shop. So considering this being a business, what is the issue with replacing it, if it were really broken? There is no nearby grocery stores/fast food so what are people supposed to eat..... Not okay! Also you can't have any cooking devices in the room, and no hotel phones included (God forbid you have an emergency). Not only that, you have to pay for wifi (works horrible), the older lady at the front desk is very rude! I went in the lobby once to heat up something and she looked at me as if there is an issue or she did not want anyone in there. I will be contacting someone about the false advertising going on here, as well as untrained poor mannered staff here. With how much this hotel is charging you would think you get the simple toiletries that other hotels with the same nightly price offer, such as clean towels, clean pillows, tissue, soap, microwaves, a tv with CHANNELS, not just 1 or 2. However, you have to PAY .50 for each roll of tissue, no housekeeping in sight to even ask for clean towels, the cable here is horrible. I had to reclean my whole room when I came as it didn't look like it was cleaned at all. Trash under the ac unit, under the beds, in drawers. Horrible! The new management is way worse than before! I am only here because my house is being fixed but today is my last day. Weekly price $274 (pay 306$ up the street at home Lodge you get everything a normal hotel offers without paying extra! If I could give zero stars I would. Please for the of all that is holy and righteous don't go here. This is the worst place on the planet to go to. No refrigerator, no microwave, cable TV don't make me laugh 8 channels that don't work. Holes in the wall, commode has old mountains of caulk, a child could have done a better job. They painted the tub and walls with paint and it was peeling off, the commode didn't have a proper lid, I didn't shower in there for fear I might get led poisoning. The table in the room was broken and some crackhead taped it up. It gets worse people, we only had two hand towels and two face towels, I didn't have a sheet on my bed, just a comforter. Asked management for new blinds because there were missing pieces of the blinds , the lady said put a blanket up to the window. I went to the store purchased some tape and aluminum foil and put it on the window so no one can watch us while we sleep. Then there was a guy that walked around the entire hotel with a radio blasting trap music from 7am to 3am, he and this crazy pregnant girl would get up early in the morning screaming for someone to give her a blunt because she needed her weed. She was pregnant and smoking like a chimney and after she woke everyone up with her loud mouth, she would go back to sleep. We complained to the front desk and they did nothing but went back and gossiped to the people who didn't have any respect for anyone, not even themselves. I have never in my entire life seen such chaos and lack of care. Whomever owns that property needs to be placed in jail and they're probation should be to stay there for 3 years in those condition so they can understand that it's not the way that you do things. That place is deplorable! Also there is a club behind the hotel and the bass from the club vibrates the hotel at night. I was sleep deprived and just plan old discusted. We should want more...

The rooms are very affordable to rent no need for a deposit 1st time seeing that in a hotel the rooms are liveable doesn't exactly look like the pictures that currently have on page and nice lady who hook me up got me other room Bc of the AC leaking an Tub no working not gonna lie it's not perfect like you thought it be like looking at the pictures and the people around here are nice just the bummer thing about it if you don't have a car etc you can't order packages 📦 or have mail over here it be returned back unfortunately 😔 ... Not gonna lie at 1st finna I was finna try to find other hotels when I 1st saw the rooms but there wasn't ones I could afford every week etc an plus don't wanna stress myself out alr been looking for hotels for like hours yesterday I was like you know what I give it a chance. The bus line crosses the street, kinda oof, probably see one bus an hour, so you would have to walk to another bus stop, which is a 20-minute walk if ya don't have a car. The reason I said that is because my aunt was and she missed the bus because her son was with me I told him you need to go back where mom He said he wanna be with me to check out the rooms then hours later waiting no bus came at all and it was a Friday bus stop 193. The wifi I had a try out on 1 day, it's good 20 bucks a week, but if you have a cheap plan that is truly unlimited, well, it's not worth it. I just...
