Read moreWow. I can’t say enough good things about the programs, staff and volunteers at the Fort Mill History Museum. I recently became a member and the “members only” events and discounts are great! Yesterday, my husband and I, had the distinct pleasure of taking the Veterans Day tour in Unity Cemetery a few blocks away from the museum in Fort Mill SC. The morning session was for members only but due to the huge interest in her tours an afternoon tour was held for non-members for a small fee to support the museum. Krista B Huff has a passion for military history and has embraced the stories of some of Fort Mill’s bravest men who fought in WWI and WWII. The tour even included a number of out of town relatives of some of the men highlighted. This was such an incredibly important and memorable experience. Krista indicated that she is already working on a new program for Memorial Day and Veterans Day...

They taught us more in an hour than we had known in over 20 years of living on the very "Mill Hill" featured in the museum! It was a beautiful experience and we hope to develop some kind of relationship with this museum...
