The Colonnade — Attraction in Fort Oglethorpe

An eve by planner very classy and professional rented the venue and put down payment for the venue. The woman running it kept giving the event planner the run around requiring sheriff, licensure in Catoosa county for the bartender, to name a few last minute requirements. This was not in the paperwork or in the emails exchanged at the time of the reservation. At the last minute the colonnade woman made it impossible for the event planner to come up with licenses for the event to be held at the colonnade. My thinking is, if they did not want this group to have the event there, then why did she not refund the deposit and just tell the event planner? Who is on the board? I would like to know what information they were presented with and if race had anything to do with judgement. I think this event planner should have an opportunity to present the emails and the conversations...

I have attended plays, expos, and art shows at the Colonnade, as well as a dear friend's wedding reception and twice hosted Moon Haven Studio's dance shows there. It's a beautiful, spacious, and excellent theater plus large spaces for events. Today I was there getting my first vaccination for covid-19! It was drive-through and very well organized. Everyone was awesome! So encouraging. I was so excited to get my first shot that I nearly cried. I love that it was at the Colonnade!...

Went to the best of the best banquet and was so disappointed in the service and food. No one came by to give us anything to drink with our meal, had to flag someone down.
