First of all when you call, he will not take any payment or anything over the phone. They charge $10 per pet deposit and it’s not refundable. The rooms absolutely reek of mold or at least I think it smells like mold. It just smells really old and gross. There are stains on the sheets as I would bring your own clean sheets. There’s stains all over the floor. There are stains on the walls. The bed is extremely uncomfortable and has multiple end dance like if someone was sitting there. The toilet paper roll was being held up by a toothbrush that was broken. I don’t know if I stayed in the same room as another review. You’re not allowed to have any visitors at any time. Dogs must be on a leash at all times which is understandable, but I thought I would throw that out there. If you don’t have a registered animal to the room, they will find you for that. They do not have a public restroom. If you were to get new towels that were in your room, the owner makes you bring dirty towels to get new towels. If you lose the key, it’s two dollars. There are no refunds after 10 minutes and it doesn’t give any more information than that but I think that’s kind of ridiculous. for $60 a night is definitely not worth the prize. I would not recommend staying here unless it’s absolutely last resort. I do want to mention that it is up the road from a few Gentlemens clubs so take the information with as you will. Overall I would give this hotel like a one star and I think that it should be like $30-$40 a night. Remind you there’s also no breakfast they don’t have any vending machines. Dogs are not allowed in the lobby. I could go on and on what is wrong with...
Read moreFor some of us I'm the past and some still today and some that will come here for there first time this is as close to home as we can get and Ms G and Peter do a wonderful job maintaining and working with guest if we need something. It's up to us to clean up after ourselves and make sure it don't look trashy not Peter's and Ms Gs . There are laundry machines and snacks up front and weekly rates and monthly. They are still remodeling some of the rooms and do what they can with what little staff they have. If the Guest would stop destroying the towels and washcloths and putting cigg burns in the comforter and pillowcases and sheets the prices might actually go down but I have been guilty of this myself but really try not to ever disrespect someone's else property again. They have to pay outvof pocket for that stuff and when u get sheets back or blankets with holes in them that's why right now. It's not a good look to a new guest and I think it's time we change people's views about the Economy Inn and it starts with us Guest that stay there on a daily. When I was there we all kind of looked out for one another and like each other or not we are under the sane roof and I wanna see Ms G and Peter bring in new guest and make that money so the upgrades can be made. So that's my opinion basically and I know everyday it's getting better there. Thanks for everything...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE!!! $20 deposit required on top of room fee (Priceline didn't mention this!) and to have deposit returned, front desk has to inspect the room and take your credit card, so don't leave your key at the desk and walk out! Entire facility decrepit. Light switches literally punched into wall. Toothbrush in place of toilet roll holder! Might have had a kitchenette at one time, but now cabinets pulled out and plywood nailed in place. Sheets were clean but all but one towel looked like it had been used to wipe down a car engine and shower curtain looked like it had blood on it. Water was hot but no pressure. Still reeks of cigarette smoke from the old days. Safety latch on door broken. Washing machines available, but owned by a vendor who does not keep them clean. Honestly, the place just needs to be burned down and rebuilt. The only plus, if it is one, is that many of the guests are long term, at $170 a week, so "quiet hours" are self-enforced so they don't get kicked out. I did smell weed in the parking lot but not in the building. If I had not been warned by Priceline of there no cancelation policy, I would have left and...
