Ernest E. Williams Theatre — Attraction in Fort Wayne

Visited PFW Theatre this past weekend for Sondheim on Sondheim presented by the Purdue University Theatre Department. While I was not particularly familiar with the man, I am familiar with some of the music he has written for many different musicals. I enjoyed hearing the familiar songs, but also liked the video segments that were incorporated into the play, showing interviews with Sondheim and giving some insight into who he was. I thought it was a wonderful tribute that was both educational and interesting, and also really funny too! We have visited the theatre a few times. Nice theater. 250 people. Not a bad seat in the house. Wraps around 3 sides of the stage. Great venue for a smaller-medium sized university. Parking garage close by. Shows are cast, produced, built and designed by the university students and faculty. For mostly "amateur" productions, shows...
