Birdies Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

There need to be signs saying there’s not an actual wait staff. Absolutely no one would walk in and assume there isn’t. The redhead behind the bar looked at us waiting at a table at minimum 10 times, walked past us, and yet still couldn’t say “hey you have to order at the bar”. When we got up to ask about it, she got snippy with us. Then also proceeded to tell us with an attitude that their ovens down so they can’t make 90% of their menu, so why aren’t there signs posted on a Friday night saying that??? I’m so glad we were ignored to only then be to be spoken to that way and still walk out...

The grinder is amazing. The sauce is just right, its toasted perfectly every time. I live at Canterbury so I go there often when it's nice enough to be able to eat outside, and I've never had one that didn't make me happy.

Wait, if people start going there, I might not have anywhere to sit.

I'm changing my mind, don't go there, it's terrible, you won't like it. Lol....

Birdies is a nice ,comfortable bar ,easy going clientele. Great food specials, from taco Tuesdays ,to coney dog Thursdays and half price pizzas on Sunday. A good place to watch a game, catch up with old friends, maybe make some new ones ,and they have a great juke box !...what more could you ask...
