Shoaff park is a decent size that runs by the Saint Joseph River. Probably the second best parking situation next to Franke park. It has walking path with gravel around the circle. It has pretty sights with the river and trees. It has 2 places for parties to rent out. There's a decent playground and basketball courts. The disc golf course is right in there middle of park and probably a main attraction. Splash pads are new. There's also a river assess if wanted to go canoing or boating. It's big enough to have lots things. Usually there's no events except for car shows

Great park! We love the hiking trails... They follow the river and through the woods. Interesting and beautiful in the middle of the city... We played the disc golf course today and we were really impressed! Had a great time with challenging holes and also "pro holes" through the woods (if you're that good⭐)! We spent a few hours walking with some competition😆. There is a large children's playground that always seems busy. And there are plenty of picnic tables sprinkled about to relax and enjoy a picnic.

Sweet park and disc golf course! They have a lot of nice shade trees on a good part of the course. The park has 2 sets of swings and multiple play areas as well as slides and things to climb on. If you have little toddlers keep a close eye though, cause there's some tall parts they could fall from. 😄 They have a splash pad, drinking fountain, covered picnic area, and bathrooms (I believe they're the flushable kind). It's usually pretty busy so hold on to your valuables and keep an eye on your kids.

Relaxing places to take my lunch. Went to Reliving the Past today. Water sprinklers and play area for kids. Basketball court, Baseball diamond, boat launch, tennis courts and buildings for parties. These are just a few things available to do at this park. My son and I like to go there and throw the frisbee. Kind of brings back memories for me. There are shaded areas to stay out of the Sun also. Seems like a safe enough place to take your family.

Used the launch area to paddle (via iSUP) from Shoaff to the dam near Johnny Appleseed Park. The river is nice and deep and made for a smooth ride. The other two boaters out (with motorized boats) were courteous and friendly. Took us about an hour and fifteen minutes to do this stretch of river at a leisurely pace. We got out at the concrete steps just after the warning bouys. We will be going again!
