Shoaff park is a decent size that runs by the Saint Joseph River. Probably the second best parking situation next to Franke park. It has walking path with gravel around the circle. It has pretty sights with the river and trees. It has 2 places for parties to rent out. There's a decent playground and basketball courts. The disc golf course is right in there middle of park and probably a main attraction. Splash pads are new. There's also a river assess if wanted to go canoing or boating. It's big enough to have lots things. Usually there's no events except for car shows

Great park! We love the hiking trails... They follow the river and through the woods. Interesting and beautiful in the middle of the city... We played the disc golf course today and we were really impressed! Had a great time with challenging holes and also "pro holes" through the woods (if you're that good⭐)! We spent a few hours walking with some competition😆. There is a large children's playground that always seems busy. And there are plenty of picnic tables sprinkled about to relax and enjoy a picnic.

Sweet park and disc golf course! They have a lot of nice shade trees on a good part of the course. The park has 2 sets of swings and multiple play areas as well as slides and things to climb on. If you have little toddlers keep a close eye though, cause there's some tall parts they could fall from. 😄 They have a splash pad, drinking fountain, covered picnic area, and bathrooms (I believe they're the flushable kind). It's usually pretty busy so hold on to your valuables and keep an eye on your kids.

Shoaff Park is located at 6401 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne, Indiana. Nearly all of Shoaff Park's 184.5 acres was purchased in 1955 with a generous donation by Mr. and Mrs. Fred B. Shoaff.  The Conklin Pavilion was a gift from Mrs. Ella Conklin left to Fort Wayne's residents as part of her last will and testament.  Though Shoaff's most distinguishing feature is the natural beauty of its wooden areas, it is also distinguished by the fact that is offers the most amenities of any park. Ball Diamonds, Soccer fields, Frisbee Golf Course, Basketball courts, and Tennis courts are all available for use. Shoaff Park has 1.3 miles of river bank and a boat ramp. Shoaff Park Golf Course is a great place to learn the game of golf. The course plays to a par of 54 and offers golfers a wide variety of challenges. A Frisbee/disc Golf Course (18 holes) is also located at Shoaff for your enjoyment. Pavilions Conklin-Capacity: 288 Riverlodge- Capacity: 200 The playground offers multiple slides and additional fun features for the kids. It is conveniently located next to the splashpad for hours of fun!(open seasonally). Restrooms & Open Air Shelter facility is conveniently located next to the playground/splashpad area in the park. Exercise enthusiasts in Shoaff park have three different options depending on their level of interest. The trails offer a soothing escape from the...

This park has a nice exercise loop. It's too bad most people in Fort Wayne have next to no common sense to use it correctly. It's very rare that I don't see people blocking the whole path shoulder to shoulder, walking/running/cycling the wrong way in the one-way section, Blocking the path with their dog/leash, parking vehicles on the path, walking/running on the wrong side and just expect everyone else to get out of their way, Driving vehicles on the path, Driving vehicles the wrong way on the path, Blocking the path with car shows several times a summer and this is all just off the top of my head. I've been bitten by someone's dog while cycling here and they never even said sorry. I've even been run off the path by a cop car driving on the wrong side of the road/path at this park. Another time a young woman and her guy friend thought it would be funny to act like they was going to push their baby stroller in front of me just as I got to them. They both laughed that I had to slam the brakes. For the most part I stopped going here to use the path. It's just...

KID'S WILL LOVE IT ! PLAY GROUND NEAR BY, BASICALLY AS YOU WOULD SAY ACROSS THE STREET. RELAX THERE'S NO STREET AN LONGER.. AWWSOME PARK . ONLY ONE DRAW BACK ! THE PLAY GROUND,, AN SPLASH PARK , ARE RIGHT NEXT TO THE RIVER !!! YOU'VE GOT TO BE ON YOUR TOES ! THEY NEED A VERY HIGH STEEL FENCE IN THAT AREA , AN A PROCETIVE WALL FOR IT TO REST ON SO THE CHILDREN CAN'T SLIP UNDER IT , LKKE THE OLD WIRE FENCE IT BEND'S AN THEY CAN CRAWL THROUGH IT, OR EVEN SLIP UNDER IT ! BE ADVISED , IT'S A BEAUTIFUL PARK , YOU'LL ENJOY IT. JUST HAVE TO STAY ON YOUR TOES CONSTANTLY, NO TIME TO RELAX AN JUST WATCH KID'S PLAY BECAUSE OF THE RIVER ! THE SAME GOES FOR THEIR PAVILION ,YOU CAN'T RELAX FOR A SECOND BECAUSE OF THE RIVER, AN THE CHILDREN PLAYING RIGHT THERE. WITH NO PROCETION FROM THE CHILDREN FALLING INTO THE RIVER ! OTHER WISE IT'S A AWESOME , AN BEAUTIFUL PARK ! PS. DID I MENTION ? THEY ALSO HAVE A GOLF COURSE ! ENJOY EVERYONE. BE SAFE , & STAY...
