The Rcade Comics — Attraction in Fort Wayne

A million times over I would recommend this shop. THIS IS WHAT COMIC SHOPS SHOULD BE! Let me explain: I came to the area for a weekend with my partner and we say this store online and said why not stop by and see what it’s like. Upon walking in, we were met with hellos and how are you doings by the crew working. Not just that but they started asking questions as to why I was coming in, what stories I liked, and what I’m currently reading. All of this seemed to be part of their calculated algorithm to then proceed to provide some of the greatest recommendations one could ask for. I stood there getting lost in conversation with the 2 gentleman behind the counter while my girlfriend was behind me probably hoping that we would leave soon because she doesn’t read comics—yet. One of the guys went over to here as she perused and started sharing his wealth of knowledge and got her more excited than I ever could have asked for a particular Buffy series (her favorite show) that she never knew existed.

I can’t thank the crew of The Rcade enough for being so welcoming and proving that they don’t mess around when it comes to this form of story telling, they eat, breathe, and sleep comics. THANK YOU...

Your friendly, neighborhood gaming store epitomized. Super friendly, painfully helpful, reliably knowledgeable owners elicit an immediate sense of community and inclusion. The game, comic, and collectable selection is modern and well-represented across genres with a slant toward superhero and adventure style games. Battletech and more are also represented.

In my first visit I asked for advice getting back into reading comics and the owner asked meaningful, identifying questions and sent me home with a couple different books that hit the mark. I'll be signing up for their pull list to get the monthly releases.

Stopped in with my three boys and a friend and then brought the ladies back to use "The Loft" where they have a couple comfy loveseats, a big screen TV, plenty of tables for gaming, lots of nice, natural light, and even a stand-up arcade (Rcade? 🤣) game.

Hands down, without contest or question, the best "Comic Shop" in town. I say that with " " because it is so much more than that. It's SO clean and well laid out, the staff and owners are down to earth and friendly and helpful, and the loft upstairs for hosting my DnD sessions is GLORIOUS. They are super attentive to the interests and wants of their customers and patrons, and are obviously ACTIVELY growing and adding new things, like miniatures, paints etc. Which is just epic. Can't say enough how inviting everyone there was to me and my campaign group today, it definitely won us over as the only place we ever need to go for all our nerd-Ness.
