La Grave Field — Attraction in Fort Worth

I saw a game here once with my church. I have recently been very interested in Fort Worth's history and am a fan of Willie Mays the say hey kid baseball star. I saw online a photo of a historical marker plaque with the signature Texas star at the top. I've collected photos of several in the city. I am sad to see it vandalized, and just did a single lap around the back area, and never crossed the fences that were clearly padlocked. Unfortunately, I was run off like some hoodlum today by a less then polite woman working security. Very sad I wasn't able to read or get a good photo of the plaque. The City of Fort Worth uses LaGrave Field for juror parking for all the juries running in the courthouses. They run a shuttle bus from the field to the different courthouses. It's very convenient. The field looks like it was nice, for the local Fort Worth Cats minor league baseball team, back in the day. I don't know why the FW Cats ceased to exist. Not only is lagrave field used for baseball but it's also the main jury parking lot for those that have jury duty service it's a safe well monitored parking lot and a shuttle bus comes to the location every 30 minutes and they usually wait 3 to 5 minutes for those when they stop there the drive to most of the courts from there is less than 5 minutes if you arrive an hour early you're in good shape to have time to make it to...
