I visited the Museum in June 2021 and I’m a history buff and Dallas Native. From the moment I stepped inside and saw the original house’s character, then the artifacts, I knew it would be difficult to focus on my reason for visiting-business. What an amazing opportunity I was given to learn of all that African-Americans had contributed to Ft. Worth and Tarrant County. Every ISD should have this Museum on their suggested field trip list, even if done virtually! Every Divine Greek Org., should “seed” into this museum because Sorors and Fraternity Brothers have made significant contributions to the growth of the City. A “must go see” stop on visitors list.
