This museum is small in stature and yet it packs a very POWERFUL wealth of the city’s history! How is it that it never came up during my previous searches for museums? Nevertheless, we found each other and I couldn’t be happier. To know the majority of the city was built from concrete supplied by a formed black slave!!! Where in the history books is this? It’s not! Read moreI had an amazing experience while visiting the Lenora Rolla Museum. The museum was very clean and extremely organized. I was provided with a tour by the Executive Director of the museum, Mrs Brenda Sanders Wise. She is extremely knowledgeable about the artifacts housed in the museum and when she tells the story about the contribution that African Americans made to Tarrant County, Texas and beyond, it is a history lesson that I will never forget, one that will always be etched in my heart and soul.
