National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum — Attraction in Fort Worth

Interesting museum, most liked the displays on the diversity of cowboys and cowgirls in the wild west. Like the Autry Museum of the American West in Los Angeles this museums show the reality of the frontier not the John Wayne fake myths that disrespect what really happened out there where people struggled and lived with honestly, dignity, and freedom from oppressive social norms. The displays present a reality of the diverse West that are so much more realistic and interesting than our view of the West shaped by novels like “The Virginian”, John Wayne and Spaghetti Westerns movies. I was supposed to start a job that seems like a pyramid scheme with childhelp working with foster kids. They literally have you meet at this location which is just an empty building rented out to meet at for a location of where you drive to afterwards. Kinda sucks. Anywho, this is no longer a museum.
