I really contemplated whether to leave a review or not but decided I should.
I came in to get an acrylic set. The nail tech who helped me, I think her name was Micah, not 100% sure, was a short Hispanic lady. Everything started off smooth. I asked for a gold French tip, and she explained she could either use a black base with a metallic gold on top or go with a shiny gold. I didnât like the shiny look, so I went with the metallic option.
I specifically told her to pls cut my cuticles. She said she doesnât cut cuticles at all, she can only push them back, which threw me off, but I let it slide. Then I realized I was being overcharged. They rang me up for $85. I called it out immediately, and Scott fixed it. Apparently, it was a mistake on his part or hers, not sure who exactly. They did give me a little discount for removing the few leftover nails I came in with, which were just five nails with gel, and charged me $5 for that. Fair enough. Though for the record, I noticed another customer also had a billing issue. She got charged $70 just for polish, which didnât make sense either. So yeah, double-check your bill before you pay.
The next day, I noticed the gold tip was already flaking off and the black base was showing through. So I went back to get it fixed. I sat down and the same nail tech walked over and came at me super rude and aggressive. She immediately told me sheâd have to charge to fix it, saying nails arenât meant to last forever. Mind you, this was less than 24 hours later.
I was calmly trying to explain the situation, this is just how I talk, and she cut me off telling me to lower my voice. I wasnât yelling, just talking in my regular tone, and told her it was rude to say that. She didnât care. She got defensive, started being dismissive, and honestly started showing some microaggressions and racist energy, both towards me and my friend who was with me.
Iâm one of the calmest people youâll meet. I have social anxiety, so I donât even raise my voice like that. I was genuinely shocked that I was experiencing racism from a Hispanic woman. My friend had to step in and say something because the way she was talking to us was completely uncalled for. It got tense and she walked out on us.
Then the manager came over. She was actually super respectful and kind. She tried to calm everything down and fix the situation. She cleaned off the French tip and offered to do a cat eye design instead. I accepted since I had somewhere to be in a few hours. But honestly, it felt rushed. The job wasnât great. The gel started looking chipped the next day and the edges werenât done cleanly.
I have no complaints about the manager. She really did try to fix things. I think they were close to closing, so she was rushing too. But still, I feel like I wasted over $80 on nails that didnât even last a day.
She mentioned sheâd talk to the tech since sheâs new. But Iâll say this clearly. If youâre a person of color, do not book with that short Hispanic lady. She is rude and racist, also sheâs only good with nail art not normal nails....

The owner reached out to me and asked that I come back in to have the manicure redone. (Sorry we have missed each others calls). Both he, Scott, as well as Phoung, the manicurist, again were so nice and very apologetic. We arranged a time and everything was redone and days later still looks nice. I have changed my rating from âď¸âď¸âď¸ to âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ as that was the only issues I had with my visit. Again great service and friendly staff and a willingness to fix issues. Thank you both so much.
Itâs been a while since Iâve been here and I was in the area and stopped by. Theyâre under new ownership/management, I believe the guy said about a year or so. Itâs nice, bright, organized and clean on the inside. I had a few different things done (gel manicure, pedicure and eyebrows waxed) and EVERYONE I encountered was friendly and had a pleasant attitude.
The prices are on par for the services they offer. I was please with the services I received but my only gripe, and itâs kinda big, is that the gel polish has chipped already. Just 24 hours! Thereâs an additional $15.00 charge for gel added to a service and at that rate Iâd expect them to not to chip, at the very minimum, a week. It may be hard to see in the picture because my nails are short and the color is nude/natural. Aside from that Iâd return and possibly try...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon. I arrived around 10:30 AM, and although the salon wasnât busy, I still had to wait unnecessarily before being helped. I clearly explained that I only needed a polish change on my toes and dip powder for my nails, and I provided the colors I wanted. After waiting an additional five minutes, I asked if I could make a later appointment instead. At that point, the man at the front desk told me the nail tech was ready and directed me to the back.
While I was initially greeted with a smile, it was quickly followed by a rude comment. I tried to overlook it, assuming it might be a cultural misunderstanding. However, the nail tech continued chatting with another tech throughout the process, frequently stopping my service to engage in conversation. This became frustrating and felt unprofessional.
Then, before any real service had been completed, my nails had only been filed, I was asked to pay upfront. This is not how I prefer to do business. When I asked if there was a charge for what had been done so far, she said no. I left a $10 tip for her time and chose not to continue with the service.
I wonât be returning, and unfortunately, cannot recommend this...
