Newburg Park — Attraction in Fortuna

Nice grounds, baseball field, skatepark, and playground. Could use more play equipment since it only has a couple different style things to climb on, and two very steep slides. But the equipment that's there is newer, nice, and well kept. There are no wood chips, which is very nice. It is pieces of chopped up rubber so it doesn't hurt when the kids tumble or trip. Love bringing my kiddos here to the bike park. Unfortunately it’s not a skate park, bikes and scooters only. My littlest learned to ride a bike without training wheels here. (We live where it’s VERY hilly). The playground is so-so. Rohner park has better ones. If that’s what you’re looking for. This park is used all the time. Baseball games, bike park for kids, soccer, dog walking only if you pick up the land mines PLEASE ! Ice skating rink occasionally in winter....
