Jitter Bean Coffee Co — Restaurant in Fortuna

If you know me, it's not a secret that JB is my FAVORITE coffee place. They roast their own beans and the medium roast sumatra is chef's kiss. I drive through and the girls know my order and have it ready when I get to the window. The coffee is way less acidic than most other places so it doesn't give me heartburn and if you get something chocolatey, they use powdered chocolates instead of the pumps which is SO much better.

I would love to see JB open a dine-in spot in fortuna also like they have in Arcata so they could expand their pastry/food options but I am perfectly okay with the current space also. JB will always...

So, I pull in, and a waitress comes out to my car and I couldn't see the menu so I just asked for something hot like a macchiato. A medium with 1 added shot...I get to the windows and I'm charged almost 9 dollars for 1 cup of coffee!...I noticed on the posted menu there that all the hot coffees were around 5 bucks so I asked why mine cost so much more and she said, well we don't have macchiatos so it was a special drink. She sure could've told me. I told her if I'd known I would have gotten a latte for nearly half the price...I felt taken advantage of..and I love coffee, but I'm never going there...

I haven't beem to Jitter bean in a long time but decided to go. I asked for 2 coffee's and they did not give me or even offer me any coffee sleeves or coffee top covers. They older lady in there did not seem friendly whatsoever. I waited at the the window for a couple mins no one came for me to ask for those things so I left but most likely will not be returning. My co-worker had gotten me a coffee from shotz recently n it had everything they even gave him a coffee holder. The coffee was not that great either...
