Fountain Hills Skate Park — Attraction in Fountain Hills

I give this skatepark 3 stars at best.

The old part of the skatepark there isn’t really good flow and there is no good quarter pipes or hips to fly out of. The new section of the skatepark which is the bowl section has terrible transition. The coping sticks out way too much in almost every single spot. It makes it really difficult to do any tricks at all. The pump track is decent but crowed with bikers constantly using it.

I’d give this skatepark 4 stars if they went back and patched up the bowl and made the coping stick out less. I’d give this skatepark 5 stars if they improved the old part of the skatepark by also fix parts of the coping and improving a few ramps. This is a very rad, low-key skate park. This is a great park to learn with a shallow pool and mid sized quarter pipe. The pump track is a lot of fun. I went on a Sunday afternoon and only had a few scooters riding around....
