Newly refurbished and updated, this is a fun place for kids all ages. The Splash Pad is fairly large to accommodate a lot of participants, but not so big that you'll lose sight of your young ones. A moderate amount of seating is available, but it can fill up fast.
The playground is gently separated into sections for kids with different styles. Smaller slides for the littles, a climbing tower for the biggers. And always a good line of sight to keep an eye on your charges.
Plenty of parking, with good well-kept bathrooms coupled with a huge park and the beautiful Fountain shooting water high into the sky every hour makes this one of the best parks around.
Some nice restaurants and a great coffee/sandwich shop just steps away as well as a frozen yogurt place help keep the energy up.
Good stores nearby, a gift shop, a newly opened bookstore (late 2022), and more make this area a great place to bring out of...

Views from the playground were nice too. From the top of the playset, you could see the scenic overview...

My favorite part is the assortment of drums and vibes that are set up in the shaded center of the playground. Kids - and adults - can make noise on bells, xylophones, and various drums.
The edge of the park has a splash pad that is open over summer and is lots of fun. Plenty of shaded ramadas to sit in. Just watch that your little one doesn't wander over to the lake; it's very close...
